Why Should We Maintain A Proper Diet..?

First of all, I would say most of the people have misconceptions on diet. People think good diet is not eating food or skipping meals. They also think that good diet means having Green Salad only. Guys,if you are one of them, then let me tell you that these are all Myths. Proper Diet means having a meal with proper ratio of 3 Macronutrients those are CARBOHYDRATES, PROTEINS, FAT including  VEGETABLES.
This should the ratio of your diet. All the 3 Macronutrients are very much essential for our body. In India what people do is Eat excess amount of Carbohydrates & Fat. They eat Protein in a small amount which is wrong. There is a rule that a normal person should eat 1gram of protein per kg. Suppose your body weight is 60kgs then you need to eat 60 grams of protein daily then only you will have healthy body.

CARBOHYDRATES- Body's primary source of energy. In simple words It is stored in our body & gives us energy whenever we do any type of physical work. Every cell & tissues can use glucose in the form of energy.  Foods- Rice, Brown rice, Roti, oats, fruits, whole grain bread, lentils, sweet potato etc etc.. 


PROTEIN- Building block of tissue. In simple words Protein helps in building muscles in our body. It is also very essential in making hormones & enzymes. Food- Eggs, lean meats, Quinoa, Fish, Paneer, Tofu, Milk, Almonds, Nuts etc etc. 


FAT- The body's insulators & energy source. It helps the absorption of fat-solube VITAMIN (A, E & K) Good Fat kills Bad Fat in our Body & Gives us energy. It plays an important role in hiking metabolism & reducing the heart disease. Foods- Fish, Almonds, Peanuts, Cashews, Olive oil, Sesame Seeds etc etc. 


If your focusing on workouts more than DIET then my friend you are wrong. It should be the ratio of 80% good nutrition & 20% workout then only you would have fit body.
